My Teaching & Learning Philosophy
Let us welcome all children into a classroom where they feel safe and secure by offering a warm environment for learning. When a student enters my class, I will ensure they strive to do their personal best.
I believe that each one of my students is capable of achieving greatness, no matter what obstacles they face. Education is a path leading to their future endeavors, so it is crucial to learn the necessities.
No two students are alike; therefore, I will never compare students.
Teachers have a powerful influence on their students; therefore, I will emphasize the importance of independence and self-confidence by using positive interactions to boost the overall energy in the classroom.
Students should have the opportunity to express their individuality through creativity and imagination. Students will not feel pressured to work within constraints, but will be encouraged to think outside of the box.
Respect is essential, and we learn by example. I will illustrate this by respecting every student and encourage my students to respect each other and their surroundings.
“You won't lag behind, because you'll have the speed.
You'll pass the whole gang and you'll soon take the lead.
Wherever you fly, you'll be best of the best.
Wherever you go, you will top all the rest.
Except when you don't.
Because, sometimes, you won't.”
- Dr. Seuss
